BYPAD Modul: Bicycle policy on paper South Dublin County   (Ireland)
South Dublin County does have a thorough cycling planning, strongly related to spatial development and cycling policy in Greater Dublin.

Implementation

Cycling policy is dictated by the regional agency (Dublin Transportation Office) via the “Strategic Cycle Network Plan” and the Regional Cycling Policy (currently under review). The written expression of the local cycling policy is contained in the Development Plan of the local authority. However, currently there is no “all-encompassing“ cycling policy document for South Dublin County Council besides what is included in the Development Plan. Cycling policy on paper has also seen considerable attention in the past two years with the preparation of two Integrated Framework Plans for the County.
